Kieran Ngeny vs Owen Waki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Kangundo-Tala Kayange, Kangundo-Tala,  taking place on 05/01/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Kenya Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kieran Ngeny (13 - 8(1) - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Owen Waki(11(5) - 0) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Ngeny weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces, while Waki weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Sultan, and the three ringside judges are Ibrahim Halaby, Jack Chepchumba and Chike Anentia.  

Round 1: 

Waki steps inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.
