Joshua Kimutai vs Vashon Makacha

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at World Hope Stadium, Nairobi,  taking place on 07/01/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joshua Kimutai (15(2) - 2 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Vashon Makacha(12(1) - 6) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Kimutai and Makacha weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Changeywo, and the three ringside judges are Bob Mbiyu, Bob Mbiyu and Noah Odoyo.
