Atif Jabbour vs Elderson Amkpa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Maiduguri Akpososo, Maiduguri,  taking place on 26/11/2026:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Borno State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Atif Jabbour (6 - 3 - 1) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Elderson Amkpa(6 - 9 - 3) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Jabbour weighed in at 140 pounds, while Amkpa weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zain Faraj, and the three ringside judges are Irfan Rahaim, Obaid Shariff and Shehu Akande.
