Obafemi Shanu vs Yakubu Imeh

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Oyo State promoted show at Olufemi Atulewa Gym, Oyo,  taking place on 26/11/2026:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Oyo State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Oyo State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Obafemi Shanu (4 - 10) who hails from Ibadan, Nigeria and Yakubu Imeh(7 - 1) from Ibadan, Nigeria.  Both Shanu and Imeh weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Chahine, and the three ringside judges are Irfan Younan, Will Akintoye and Juwon Asonze.  

Round 1:
