Rush Casta vs Mortimer Tiozzo

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Palais de la Culture Anoumabo Hall, Abidjan,  taking place on 14/01/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ivory Coast Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTI Sport TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rush Casta (7(1) - 0) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Mortimer Tiozzo(9 - 4 - 1) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Casta weighed in at 175 pounds, while Tiozzo weighed in at 174 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rance Verne, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Darrieux, Gregory de Pizan and Odilon Diaby.  

Round 1:

The right shot from Casta could be enough to force the stoppage!  Casta lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING TIOZZO DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Tiozzo now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
