David Lochhead vs Chris Huntley

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Auckland Hauiti, Auckland,  taking place on 27/11/2026:

Clearly Slick Rick Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Lochhead (8 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Chris Huntley(14 - 6 - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Lochhead weighed in at 134 pounds and 2 ounces, while Huntley weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harvey Dorch, and the three ringside judges are Declan Haturini, Robert Haturini and Kyle Stine.
