Laurent Ortega vs Quennel Perret

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Rhone-Alpes promoted show at Donatien Perec Gym, Lyon,  taking place on 25/12/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Rhone-Alpes Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Laurent Ortega (9 - 8 - 3) who hails from Grenoble, France and Quennel Perret(7 - 0) from Saint-Etienne, France.  Both Ortega and Perret weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeremie Olin, and the three ringside judges are Cable Nin, Varocher Mouyal and Landry Perrault.  

Round 1: 

Perret steps inside.  Perret sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Ortega sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ortega throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Ortega's ribs.
