Paul Clugston vs John Argyle

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at War Memorial Gymnasium, San Francisco,  taking place on 03/02/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Clugston (9(2) - 0) who hails from Austin, USA and John Argyle(14 - 7(1) - 2) from Dallas, USA.  Both Clugston and Argyle weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Barro, and the three ringside judges are Sam Dunkin, Blake Travis and Gazi Pasha.  

Round 1: 

Clugston steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Clugston clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Clugston pushes his forearm into Argyle's face.  The ref breaks Clugston's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Clugston digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Clugston ties up his opponent.  Argyle uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Clugston's kidney.

Argyle tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Clugston steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Argyle is on target with a cross.  
Clugston gets on the inside.  Argyle throws a right hook, but Clugston holds on to his opponent.  Argyle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
