Obaid Yousuf vs Waqas Mir

Boxing Daily Report from the Adusei Promotions promoted show at Majid Saah Gym, Bama,  taking place on 27/12/2026:

Clearly Adusei Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Obaid Yousuf (15 - 2 - 4) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Waqas Mir(6 - 9 - 1) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Yousuf weighed in at 199 pounds And 7 ounces, while Mir weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Igbinadolor, and the three ringside judges are Irfan Rahaim, Waleed Akhter and Theophilus Aliu.
