Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 16/01/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are James MacDougall (12(1) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Joshua Gilfillan(20(2) - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  MacDougall weighed in at 159 pounds and 12 ounces, while Gilfillan weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Mullane, and the three ringside judges are Dan Nish, Giorgio Lombardo and Barry Forbes.
