Montego Curiel vs James Drum

Boxing Daily Report from the Baddog promoted show at Thompson Recreation and Athletic Centre, London,  taking place on 12/01/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montego Curiel (32(21) - 1(1)) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and James Drum(19 - 2 - 1) from El Paso, USA.  Curiel weighed in at 199 pounds And 8 ounces, while Drum weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Dowe, and the three ringside judges are Leo Gaddie, Jamie Barclay and Clint Duthie.

Curiel knows Drum is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Curiel lands a cross followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS DRUM SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Curiel lands a big cross.  DRUM IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Drum now seems to have his senses back.  
Drum gets on the inside.  Curiel is on target with a left uppercut.  
Curiel steps to the outside and DETONATES a nasty cross on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE DRUM WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Drum advances into close range.  Curiel knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Curiel lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DROPS DRUM TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Drum can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Curiel!
