Edmundo Gangan vs Juan Balantakbo

Boxing Daily Report from the Phiri Promotions promoted show at Imus Estigoy, Imus,  taking place on 29/12/2026:

Clearly Phiri Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cavite Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmundo Gangan (11 - 5 - 4) who hails from Dasmarinas, Philippines and Juan Balantakbo(3 - 11(1) - 2) from Bacoor, Philippines.  Both Gangan and Balantakbo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil Lovato, and the three ringside judges are Hernan Binaoro, Santiago Taguinod and Montenegro Padagas.
