Jose Amurao vs Ponce Palapus

Boxing Daily Report from the Abadamloora Promotions promoted show at General Santos Calzadilla, General Santos,  taking place on 29/12/2026:

Clearly Abadamloora Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-South Cotabato Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Amurao (7 - 10 - 6) who hails from General Santos, Philippines and Ponce Palapus(7 - 0) from General Santos, Philippines.  Amurao weighed in at 159 pounds and 6 ounces, while Palapus weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Alpay, and the three ringside judges are Zelipe Okala, Joaquin Dalao and Hernan Pavon.
