Kien Huu vs Shamus Power

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City,  taking place on 06/02/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBC Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kien Huu (24(18) - 2(2)) who hails from Haiphong, Vietnam and Shamus Power(20(14) - 0 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Huu and Power weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan McLoughlin, and the three ringside judges are Ewan McLoughlin, Valentino Brunelli and Hayden Giunti.  

Round 1: 

Power steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Power walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Huu hits home with a firm left hook.  
Huu is looking to keep his distance and lands a sharp jab.  Huu throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Power advances into close range and tries to land a left uppercut, but Huu parries the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to Power's body.  
Power lands a firm left hook.  
Power forces Huu to retreat onto the ropes.  Huu lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Power recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Power throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Huu switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Power finds the target with a jab.  
Power lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Huu steps to the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but Power sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Huu is on target with a left uppercut.  
Huu attempts to land a right hook, but Power slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Power quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Power attempts to land a right hook, but Huu parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Power digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Power drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Huu tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Power advances into close range and manages to force Huu onto the ropes.  Power pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Power pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Power drives a right hook into Huu's ribs.  
Power lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Power advances into close range and drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents body.  Power attempts to land a left uppercut, but Huu sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Power digs in a left hook to Huu's body.  
Power is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Huu steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands an overhand right to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Power steps inside and manouvers Huu onto the ropes.  Power sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Huu drives a firm left uppercut into Power's body.

Huu steps away from his opponent.  Huu feints a jab, tricking Power into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Huu springs the trap and counters with  a cross.  
Huu lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Power closes the distance.  Huu lands a solid left hook.  Huu tries to land a left hook, but Power sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Power walks Huu down, trapping him on the ropes.  Power lands a left hook.  
Power throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to Power's ribs.  
Huu steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Power tries to land a jab, but Huu sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Huu lands a stinging jab.  Huu tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Huu lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING POWER DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Power gets on the inside and walks Huu onto the ropes.  Huu lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Huu lands a DEVASTATING left hook.  POWER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE POWER THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Huu!
