Jair Rabago vs Alejandro Rueda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at Quito Cazares, Quito,  taking place on 30/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador-Pichincha Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jair Rabago (15 - 3 - 1) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Alejandro Rueda(15 - 5 - 1) from Quito, Ecuador.  Rabago weighed in at 237 pounds and 13 ounces, while Rueda weighed in at 247 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Santillanes, and the three ringside judges are Cris Lainez, Enzo Roque and Joaquin Santillanes.
