Vasili Ozdoyev vs Sergei Babin

Boxing Daily Report from the Lupyan Promotions promoted show at Afon Angeloff Gym, Rostov-on-Don,  taking place on 30/12/2026:

Clearly Lupyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Rostov Oblast Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vasili Ozdoyev (8 - 3 - 2) who hails from Shakhty, Russia and Sergei Babin(5 - 5 - 2) from Rostov-on-Don, Russia.  Ozdoyev weighed in at 248 pounds and 2 ounces, while Babin weighed in at 228 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Daniil Porzhnev, and the three ringside judges are Aleksandr Baroyev, Goga Sozonov and Fedya Torbinski.
