Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Muzaffar Allakhyarov Gym, Baku,  taking place on 31/12/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Farhad Gasymov (7 - 11 - 3) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Bashir Aghababayev(15 - 5) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Gasymov weighed in at 125 pounds and 7 ounces, while Aghababayev weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alekber Ameen, and the three ringside judges are Nurlan Hagverdiyev, Fazail Babayev and Malik Shabazz.
