Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Soweto Badoe, Soweto,  taking place on 31/12/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Van Dyk (11 - 13(1) - 1) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Roshaun Kole(15 - 7 - 3) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Van Dyk and Kole weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jabulani Segolela, and the three ringside judges are Phumelele Mkhize, Xhosas Kwadwo and David Khumalo.
