Jeong-ho Sim vs Seung-gyu Yong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-Gyeonggi promoted show at MVL Hotel Iris Hall, Goyang,  taking place on 31/12/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Korea-Gyeonggi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jeong-ho Sim (11 - 4 - 2) who hails from Suwon, South Korea and Seung-gyu Yong(18(9) - 2) from Ansan, South Korea.  Sim weighed in at 111 pounds and 13 ounces, while Yong weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eun-sun Shon, and the three ringside judges are Sung-yeung Myung, Ju-young Mun and Shin-wook Cha.
