Chul Bae vs Jong-ho Kang

Boxing Daily Report from the Cherkoyan Promotions promoted show at Yong-jae Ko Gym, Changwon,  taking place on 31/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-South Gyeongsang Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chul Bae (8 - 1) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Jong-ho Kang(7 - 9 - 1) from Changwon, South Korea.  Bae weighed in at 134 pounds And 11 ounces, while Kang weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chul Kwon, and the three ringside judges are Eun-sun Bang, Yong-jae Ham and Keun-ho Chon.
