Aydin Sokmen vs Doruk Vural

Boxing Daily Report from the GENCO promoted show at Ankara Chaglar, Ankara,  taking place on 01/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Ankara Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aydin Sokmen (9 - 10(2) - 2) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Doruk Vural(11 - 13(2)) from Ankara, Turkey.  Sokmen weighed in at 129 pounds and 7 ounces, while Vural weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cumhur Goktuna, and the three ringside judges are Ilker Gruda, Engin Ali and Mehmet Halefoglu.

Vural advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Vural is on target with a right hook to Sokmen's body.

Sokmen has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
