Ahmet Merich vs Iskander Ergin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Istanbul promoted show at Istanbul Altan, Istanbul,  taking place on 02/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ahmet Merich (19(1) - 2(1)) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Iskander Ergin(17 - 2 - 1) from Izmir, Turkey.  Both Merich and Ergin weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Altan Tahir, and the three ringside judges are Cemil Barak, Asil Karabacak and Bayram Atan.
