Kyan Matiangi vs Mykelti Sholei

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Michael Semenya Gym, Kangundo-Tala,  taking place on 05/12/2026:

Clearly AI Kenya-Machakos have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Machakos Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyan Matiangi (1 - 4) who hails from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya and Mykelti Sholei(3 - 0) from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya.  Matiangi weighed in at 229 pounds and 12 ounces, while Sholei weighed in at 226 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yobachi Kimanthi, and the three ringside judges are Ian Kahiu, Ian Elmi and Vashon Magut.
