Ricardo Mendivil vs Jair Gago

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Coahuila promoted show at Ngwenya Gym, Saltillo,  taking place on 01/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Coahuila Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricardo Mendivil (6 - 4 - 4) who hails from Torreon, Mexico and Jair Gago(10 - 3 - 2) from Torreon, Mexico.  Both Mendivil and Gago weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Macia, and the three ringside judges are Rio Milan, Vegas Lechuga and Selestino Briones.

Mendivil sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gago drives a left hook into his opponents body.
