Athenkosi Gumede vs Sid September

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Khayelitsha Vilakazi, Khayelitsha,  taking place on 02/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Athenkosi Gumede (8 - 1 - 3) who hails from Khayelitsha, South Africa and Sid September(9 - 0) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Gumede and September weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Laken Ako, and the three ringside judges are Luvolwethu Nyatama, Oringo Arthur and Kasi Hlatshwayo.
