John Akubeze vs Ike Chrisantus

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kwara State promoted show at Ilorin Aguda, Ilorin,  taking place on 02/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kwara State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Akubeze (11 - 6) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Ike Chrisantus(13 - 1) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  Akubeze weighed in at 134 pounds and 3 ounces, while Chrisantus weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ikechukwu Chukwuemeka, and the three ringside judges are Majid Farooq, Gazi Ansari and Ikechukwu Bethel.
