Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Cape Town De Jongh, Cape Town,  taking place on 02/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-Western Cape Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mike Lifunisabo (4 - 0) who hails from Khayelitsha, South Africa and Rene Marais(6 - 14 - 5) from Mitchells Plain, South Africa.  Both Lifunisabo and Marais weighed in at 118 pounds.
