Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Gulu Obita, Gulu,  taking place on 05/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Northern Region Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Akiibua (12 - 3) who hails from Lira, Uganda and Tobias Tumwebaze(6 - 3 - 5) from Lira, Uganda.  Akiibua weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Tumwebaze weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Felix Tumwesigye, and the three ringside judges are Useni Kayemba, Duante Mukiibi and Declan Mukooza.
