Joseph Murphy vs Szymon Syrek

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Agganis Arena, Boston,  taking place on 26/12/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Joseph Murphy (7 - 0) who hails from Columbus, USA and Szymon Syrek(4 - 0 - 2) from Krakow, Poland.  Murphy weighed in at 154 pounds, while Syrek weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bart McWethy, and the three ringside judges are Peter Cooper, Hugh Hier and Hugh Hier.
