Dai Joel vs John Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Beaver Boxing Club, Ottawa,  taking place on 27/12/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dai Joel (3 - 0) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and John Owen(5 - 3 - 1) from Hamilton, Canada.  Joel weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces, while Owen weighed in at 146 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Waddey, and the three ringside judges are Tujan Zola, Denton Cadden and Neil Cowans.  

Round 1: 

Joel is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.

Joel steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
