Connor Sharper vs Russell Russell

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at O2 Arena, London,  taking place on 16/01/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Connor Sharper (12 - 6) who hails from London, UK and Russell Russley Russell(13(2) - 0 - 1) from Newcastle, UK.  Sharper weighed in at 168 pounds, while Russell weighed in at 166 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tommy MacNeal, and the three ringside judges are William Drummond, Chris Cruickshank and Clint Irvine.
