Diego Rayon vs Hugh Nevitt

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 30/01/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Diego Rayon (2 - 0) who hails from Arequipa, Peru and Hugh Nevitt(6 - 7) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Rayon and Nevitt weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Henry, Varocher Painchaud and Stephen Morton.  

Round 1: 

Rayon is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Rayon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rayon pushes his forearm into Nevitt's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
