Bryan Trench vs Nick Fallen

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkolola Promotions promoted show at Patrick Panagakos Gym, Perth,  taking place on 14/12/2026:

Clearly Nkolola Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bryan Trench (4 - 13(1) - 6) who hails from Perth, Australia and Nick Fallen(3 - 2 - 3) from Perth, Australia.  Both Trench and Fallen weighed in at 153 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Coronella, and the three ringside judges are Billy Neish, Billy Neish and Euan Gregor.  

Round 1: 

Trench is on target with a jab.  
Trench connects with a right hook.  
Trench is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Fallen feints a right hook, and then lands with a solid jab.  
Trench drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Fallen attempts to land a jab, but Trench blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Trench's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Trench's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Fallen's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Trench dabs at his face checking for damage.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Trench has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
