Scott Scroggie vs Leon Bateman

Boxing Daily Report from the Wildfighter promoted show at Melbourne McCrea, Melbourne,  taking place on 14/12/2026:

Clearly Wildfighter have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Scott Scroggie (1 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Leon Bateman(0 - 0) from Melbourne, Australia.  Scroggie weighed in at 117 pounds And 14 ounces, while Bateman weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Suit, and the three ringside judges are Stephen MacDougall, Andy Wright and Dale Masoero.  

Round 1: 

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bateman dabs at his face checking for damage.

Bateman advances into close range.  Scroggie hits home with a left hook.

Scroggie tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.
