Cuba Pesina vs Juan Mirelez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Santiago promoted show at Maipu Lopez, Maipu,  taking place on 16/12/2026:

Clearly AI Chile-Santiago have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cuba Pesina (15(1) - 4) who hails from Puente Alto, Chile and Juan Mirelez(13 - 6 - 2) from Maipu, Chile.  Both Pesina and Mirelez weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hilario Britto, and the three ringside judges are Hilario Britto, Lisandro Almonte and Pancho Peguero.
