Jaguar Alaniz vs Alejandro Mejias

Boxing Daily Report from the Sianga Promotions promoted show at Cali Borromeo, Cali,  taking place on 16/12/2026:

Clearly Sianga Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Valle del Cauca Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jaguar Alaniz (7 - 6 - 1) who hails from Cali, Colombia and Alejandro Mejias(4 - 5 - 3) from Cali, Colombia.  Alaniz weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mejias weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Orihuela, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Grimaldo, Antonio Villescas and Edmundo Negrin.
