Thompson Umaru vs Rabiu Dabiri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Enugu State promoted show at Enugu Onibiyo, Enugu,  taking place on 16/12/2026:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Enugu State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Enugu State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thompson Umaru (17 - 0 - 1) who hails from Enugu, Nigeria and Rabiu Dabiri(8(1) - 0 - 1) from Enugu, Nigeria.  Umaru weighed in at 239 pounds and 13 ounces, while Dabiri weighed in at 228 pounds and 15 ounces.
