Jake Ssentamu vs Laken Kyomya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Gulu Badie, Gulu,  taking place on 14/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Northern Region Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jake Ssentamu (8 - 8 - 4) who hails from Lira, Uganda and Laken Kyomya(7 - 10 - 4) from Lira, Uganda.  Both Ssentamu and Kyomya weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Useni Kayemba, and the three ringside judges are Felix Tumwesigye, Greg Kibaki and Duante Mukiibi.
