Spencer Dykes vs Cody Lythgoe

Boxing Daily Report from the Badoe Promotions promoted show at Michael Abel Gym, Indianapolis,  taking place on 18/12/2026:

Clearly Badoe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Indiana Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Spencer Dykes (12 - 3(1)) who hails from Fort Wayne, USA and Cody Lythgoe(1 - 5 - 3) from Indianapolis, USA.  Both Dykes and Lythgoe weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Gray, and the three ringside judges are Joseph Nicolson, Isaac Wishart and Tobias Gowans.  

Round 1: 

Dykes is looking to close the distance.  Dykes is on target with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lythgoe dabs at his face checking for damage.
