Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson Promotions promoted show at Kampala Titus, Kampala,  taking place on 14/01/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Eastern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joel Mitambo (18(5) - 2(2)) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Gareth Bhimji(12 - 1 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Mitambo and Bhimji weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tavarius Tebazaalwa, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Waheed, Ian Koreta and Joseph Madhvani.
