James Blaney vs Matthew Newburn

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Queensland promoted show at Malcolm Duffy Gym, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 14/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Blaney (8 - 11 - 4) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Matthew Newburn(16 - 10 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Blaney weighed in at 146 pounds and 7 ounces, while Newburn weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Cacciari, and the three ringside judges are Ian Rabb, Pepe Brunetti and Neil McAllaster.
