Danny Roupenyan vs John Wight

Boxing Daily Report from the Alhassan Promotions promoted show at Perth Ross, Perth,  taking place on 16/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Western Australia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danny Roupenyan (12 - 5) who hails from Perth, Australia and John Wight(9 - 2) from Perth, Australia.  Roupenyan weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Wight weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Swavely, and the three ringside judges are Oscar MacKechnie, Billy Neish and Barry Rease.
