Sid Makoun vs Sumner Nguemaleu

Boxing Daily Report from the Afrifa Promotions promoted show at Denis de Portzamparc Gym, Yaoundé,  taking place on 14/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid Makoun (12 - 7 - 5) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Sumner Nguemaleu(13 - 9 - 3) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Makoun weighed in at 129 pounds and 8 ounces, while Nguemaleu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Darrell Djone, and the three ringside judges are Briar Meiffret, Montrell Vian and Marc Notte.  

Round 1: 

Nguemaleu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.
