Giles Lucas vs Varocher Djimou

Boxing Daily Report from the Amissah Promotions promoted show at Douala Medoua, Douala,  taking place on 16/01/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Littoral Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Giles Lucas (11 - 8 - 1) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Varocher Djimou(15 - 8) from Douala, Cameroon.  Lucas weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces, while Djimou weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Valentin Tawamba, and the three ringside judges are Francis Bossuet, Ames Feudjio and Flannery Ngoudjo.  

Round 1: 

Lucas tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Djimou steps inside.  Lucas throws a right uppercut, but Djimou clinches his opponent.  Djimou leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.
