Marco Merida vs Enzo Casillas

Boxing Daily Report from the Wonani Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Saenz, Guayaquil,  taking place on 18/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marco Merida (17 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Enzo Casillas(1 - 3 - 4) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Merida weighed in at 174 pounds and 8 ounces, while Casillas weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sagaz Ancheta, and the three ringside judges are Juan Hernandez, Santiago Andrada and Vicente Tamez.
