Rehan Soliman vs Aftab Shehata

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Cairo Fahy, Cairo,  taking place on 18/01/2027:

Clearly AI Egypt-Cairo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Cairo Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rehan Soliman (7 - 14(2) - 1) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Aftab Shehata(5 - 4 - 2) from Cairo, Egypt.  Soliman weighed in at 112 pounds, while Shehata weighed in at 111 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Ouda, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Marzouk, Aftab Bari and Waqas Samy.  

Round 1: 

Soliman closes the distance and throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Soliman ties up his opponent.  Soliman uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Shehata behind the head.
