Ryuu Koike vs Kyo Shoda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Tokyo Sekiguchi, Tokyo,  taking place on 22/01/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryuu Koike (8 - 3(2) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kyo Shoda(9 - 9 - 1) from Tokyo, Japan.  Koike weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Shoda weighed in at 159 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Taro Harada, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Ohta, Hisao Hatanaka and Yasushi Uchida.
