Fumio Tanaka vs Mitsuru Araya

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 06/02/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fumio Tanaka (16(1) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Mitsuru Araya(19 - 4) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Tanaka and Araya weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dai Fujita, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Nakamura, Kyo Arima and Yuji Ohta.
