Cuba Valdovinos vs Jesus Fuertes

Boxing Daily Report from the Anyidoho Promotions promoted show at Leon Valladolid, Leon,  taking place on 26/12/2026:

Clearly Anyidoho Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cuba Valdovinos (8(3) - 1) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Jesus Fuertes(14 - 5(2) - 1) from Leon, Mexico.  Valdovinos weighed in at 140 pounds, while Fuertes weighed in at 139 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quico Brizuela, and the three ringside judges are Alvino Villavicencio, Jose Nova and Juan Gusman.  

Round 1: 

Valdovinos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Valdovinos lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Valdovinos sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Fuertes steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Valdovinos closes the distance and digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Valdovinos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Valdovinos sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Valdovinos lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Valdovinos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Valdovinos is looking to close the distance.  Valdovinos digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  As Valdovinos tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fuertes dabs at his face checking for damage.

Valdovinos lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Valdovinos dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Fuertes tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Valdovinos is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging right hook into Fuertes's body.

Valdovinos advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  Valdovinos ties up his opponent.  Fuertes pushes his forearm into Valdovinos's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Valdovinos digs in a right uppercut to Fuertes's ribcage.
