Steven Yegon vs Lamech Ndururi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Nakuru Mwirichia, Nakuru,  taking place on 23/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nakuru Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Yegon (10 - 0) who hails from Naivasha, Kenya and Lamech Ndururi(9 - 1) from Nakuru, Kenya.  Yegon weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces, while Ndururi weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Beauttah, and the three ringside judges are Marques Muriuki, Atif Ghazal and Kwamin Shaheen.
